East Staffordshire Borough Council in conjunction with partners are now offering a number of projects in line with the Warmer Homes Healthier People Campaign.
Through the Warmer Homes Healthier People project East Staffordshire Citizens Advice Bureau will be delivering 5 group sessions to people vulnerable to fuel poverty across the Burton on Trent. These sessions will explore switching suppliers, getting a better deal through existing suppliers, energy efficiency and seeking help with debts and other related problems. Further to this the local Citizens Advice Bureau is now also able to provide dedicated energy advice appointments. These will enable local people to seek one-to-one advice and support which will keep them out of fuel poverty. These free advice sessions will run until the end of April 2013 and can be accessed by calling 01283 566722.
