Ian is a very good instructor, very patient, very reliable, easy to get on with makes you feel comfortable while learning, while being very professional Ian makes you laugh, easy to chat to, you come away from your leasson feelig like you have learnt alot! I would defiantly recommend Scorpio driving school. Top instructor!!

I moved up to Derby from London and knew i would have to learn to drive. A friend of a friend gave me Ian’s number and i began learning immediately. I enjoyed my lessons and got on really well with Ian who was a great teacher. I learnt over a year, with a lot of banter along the way (West Ham being better than Derby mainly) and passed on my second try. Ian was very helpful and flexible in terms of setting lesson times and i always looked forward to my lessons. Thanks again Ian.

Really enjoyed my driving lessons and couldn’t believe it only took such a short time to come to taking my test. Ian is really patient and easy to get along with, as well as professional. Absolutely brilliant!

I really enjoyed my driving lessons with Ian, I had previous instructors who created a tense and uncomfortable atmospheres but i had a really good recommendation from my friend to have lessons with Ian. I’m so glad i did because i gained my confidence back and his a lovely and understanding person, the advice he gave me still sticks in my head to this very day! Recommend to anyone!

Patient and understanding – was ideal in helping me learn to drive quickly and well. Also most importantly, a great instructor who is great to chat to and easy to get along with!

Really enjoyed the lessons, and learnt everything in the space of a few months! Passed my test first time aswell, so would definatley recommend Scorpio Driving School!!
