Burton Hospital Visiting Times
Here are the visiting times for the different wards at Burton Queens Hospital. Where ‘Open Visiting’ is stated, there is no limit to visiting times. ‘Out of Hours’ visiting is only allowed at the discretion of the nurse in charge. ‘Protected mealtimes’ are to allow patients a time to eat their meals without interruption and so visits or usually not allowed during this time. If you are a relative and you would like to assist with feeding though, please speak to the nurse in charge.

Burton Hospital Car Parking Information
You should be aware that car parking at Burton Hospital is limited and sometimes the car parks can be very full. You should allow plenty of time to ensure you can get parked before your appointment or visiting time. When you arrive at the hospital and park at the main car park, you should take a ticket and then pay when you leave the hospital. If you are visiting the Outwoods Site then you should pay on exit at the barrier.
Patients and people visiting family or friends in hospital are now able to buy a weekly parking pass for £8, which allows unlimited parking during the week or alternatively, a monthly ticket for £25. The standard car parking rates remain the same.
Free car parking remains available for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and for bereaved relatives.
The new car parking passes will be available from the car park office, located in the Portacabin opposite the entrance to the main car park, during the following opening hours 07.00 to 21.00 hours, Monday to Sunday.
