A Call for all Artists or Artist Groups to apply for the 2014 exhibition programme at The Brewhouse Arts Centre, Burton upon Trent.

We are looking for wall based artwork for our exhibition slots in 2014 for our hireable exhibition spaces. In 2014 we have hireable exhibition spaces on offer for slots of approximately 5 weeks. Prices start from £80.00; cost is dependent on space, but included is hanging of your work, inclusion in the Brewhouse and Arts Development publicity material and online promotion, plus the opportunity to sell to our audiences.
Councillor Bernard Peters, Deputy Leader for Service Commissioning, said:
The Brewhouse is looking for exhibiting artists to show their work in our extensive exhibition spaces. This is a great opportunity for local and regional artists to exhibit to a range of audiences and visitors. The Gallery spaces are a great interest to our visitors and over the past few years we have developed an interesting and diverse exhibition programme.
The Brewhouse Arts Centre has a theatre, cinema as well as dance, workshop and activities programmes, with a total number of 40,000 visitors annually. Alongside the various wall based exhibition spaces there is also a craft case exhibition programme and our gallery shop selling unique, affordable gifts.
Artists are responsible for the delivery and collection of their work; all material is to be priced, with 2D work being framed and mirror plated.
Application forms will be needed by 31st August prior to selection for our 2014 programme at the start of September.
