Excitement abounds! Hugh and his bluesy funky edged jazz quartet are already well-known and loved by Jazz-on-tap, but add a helping of world class tenor sax and you have a powerhouse of sound and musical exhilaration – that’s the effect you get with Ronnie Scott’s most popular saxophonist on board. Hugh will be touring this band across UK in the last quarter of 2014 and we’ve been lucky enough to get them included in our programme. Expect a full on concert of exciting music from the more bluesy side of the jazz repertoire plus Hugh’s own powerful compositions. Hugh on guitars, Toliy Vyacheslavov on tenor sax, Stuart Henderson on trumpet, Paul Jefferies on bass and Steve Wyndham on drums.
