East Staffordshire Borough Council has announced its opening times the following offices over the Christmas period:
The main Council buildings, including The Maltsters, Miller’s Lane/Licensing, Sports Development office at Shobnall and Town Hall offices, will be open until 4.00pm on Monday 24th December and will then remain closed until 9.00am on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013.

The Customer Service Centre in Market Place, Burton, will close at 4.00pm on Monday 24th December 2012 and will not re-open until 9.45am on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013.
The Greenhouse at Stapenhill Cemetery will close at 4.00pm on Monday, December 24th and will not re-open until 9.00am on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013.
The Brewhouse Arts Centre will close at 4.0pm on Monday, December 24th, 2012 and re-open at 9.00am on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2012.
Shopmobility in Crossley House, Burton, will be open until 1.00pm on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012 and will not re-open until 9.00am on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013.
Stapenhill Cemetery is open every day of the year, including Christmas Day. The main gates are open from 9.00am to 5.30pm. However, the Crematorium and Cemetery Offices will be closed from 4.00pm Monday, December 24th 2012 to 9.00am on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013.
Whilst the Council is closed, people can still pay Council Tax and Business Rates on the 24/7 phone line – 01283 563713 or using the payment on-line system on www.eaststaffsbc.gov.uk
