East Staffordshire Borough Council is proud to announce that the newly refurbished Burton Market Hall will officially open to the public on Saturday 21st June. They are now looking for outstanding market retailers to trade from the ‘pop-up’ stalls.
Although Burton’s Market Hall has been restored and modernised to a high standard it is still a Market Hall; a place for the people of East Staffordshire to shop, and now, meet. There will be 22 gazebo stalls situated in the main hall available for hire every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. These pop-up stalls will help to add variety and increase footfall to the Market Hall.
The cost of a stall in the Market Hall is £40.00 per day, with great deals available on multiple gazebo or multiple day bookings. They can be leased on a casual / non lease arrangement.
Each gazebo comes equipped with a table, and the size of the stall is 9 metres square (3m x 3m).
If you are interested in trading with us and would like an opportunity to discuss the options available there will be a chance to speak to Council Officers, and take a look at the type of gazebo in use, on Thursday 5th June between 10:00am and 1:00pm at the Meadowside Leisure Centre, Burton upon Trent. 15 minute appointments are available and the gazebos are being let on a first come first served basis, so we advise booking early to avoid disappointment.
To secure your pitch, full payment for the opening day will be taken when the booking is made. This can be made either over the phone or by cheque. Payments for future stall bookings will be taken on the day by the Market Hall staff.
