Celebrate the arrival of spring this weekend with a special singing event at the Paradise in Plasticine Garden in Burton’s Octagon Centre.
The Brewhouse Youth Choir will be presenting a fun informal singing workshop at the Octagon Shopping Centre on Saturday, March 6th between 10.00am and 11.30am.
They will be at the James May “Paradise in Plasticine” Garden on the first floor of the Octagon Centre and everyone is encouraged to attend and to join in with the choir with some songs to cheer everyone up now that it is getting a little warmer and brighter.
Maria Banks, lead community artist, will work with the choir to perform a selection of songs.
The Brewhouse Youth Choir is made up of young people aged between seven and 17-years-old.
The choir meet on Saturdays at the Brewhouse and work within a range of musical styles from soundtracks to folk, musicals to modern classics.
Come along to meet the choir and join in for free if you want to try out your own singing talent, no experience necessary.
