Half Term Fun – Adventures in the Forest

Sat 29th May – Sun 6th June

Come and visit Conkers this half term the awarding winning visitor attraction in the National Forest.  From Saturday 29th May to Sunday 6th June Conkers will entertain the family with 120 acres to explore!  Come and experience the assault course through to the train ride linking the Discovery and Waterside Centres as well as our popular Barefoot Walk.

We also have lots of extra activities for everyone to enjoy at both Discovery and the covered amphitheatre at Waterside throughout the week, including:

Sunday 30th May – At Waterside the Circus Workshop is back.  Come and learn a new circus skill with the Circus Workshop team between 12 noon to 4pm.

Monday 31st May  – Animal Man Nick Spellman is running his live animal show in the covered amphitheatre at Waterside.  Nick Spellman’s show will be on at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.    At Discovery the Dream Ponies are available – let your children ride on the visiting ponies between 12 noon and 4pm.

Tuesday 1st June – Circus Workshop are running between 12 noon and 4pm at the Waterside amphitheatre and Dream Ponies are visiting Discovery between 12 noon and 4pm.

Wednesday 2nd June – Nick Spellman is back and is running his famous show at the Waterside amphitheatre at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm

Thursday 3rd June – The Green Man is visiting Waterside Amphitheatre and will be running his show at 11am, 1.30pm and 3pm.  The Dream Ponies are also at Discovery between 12 noon and 4pm.

Friday 4th June – Circus Workshops are running between 12 noon and 4pm at the Waterside amphitheatre.

You might even get to meet the Forest Dwellers.
