Fun for all the Family at Conkers in the National Forest

Half term holidays are full of entertainment this year, with the emphasis on some furry friends who will be visiting Conkers.
Monday 19th October- Friday 30th October

‘Mizzy the Monkey’ halloween show is performed DAILY from Monday 19th until Friday 26th, with the exception of weekends. There are 4 performances each day at  1.30 p.m./2.30 p.m./3.30p.m./4.30 p.m.

This is an interactive show with music and song that will entertain children from 4 years upwards. Meet the cheeky character Mizzy and friends as they embark on their spooky adventures this Halloween at Conkers. The show lasts around 20mins.This is an ideal family fun show for the spooky season. Why not come dressed up as your own favourite monster or spook and scare the nasty Mr Copperfield and help Mizzy along the way. Performances are held throughout the day and are available to all visitors at no extra charge.

On Friday 23rd & 30th, we are pleased to welcome the ‘Dream Ponies’ who will be dressed in their new costumes – a Stoke City football kit, a princess and a cowboy! The ponies can offer rides to any young visitors wishing to do so, or for just a stroke. There is no additional charge, so the choice is yours.

For those of a fearless nature, the selection of autumnal crafts on offer this half term holiday will satisfy all younger members who enjoy scaring parents, grandparents or any adults!

The Rangers will be offering the following workshops during the week commencing October 26th:
Monday & Tuesday = Create a Pumpkin Plate
Wednesday & Thursday = Devise a Devil Cat
Friday = Make a Ghastly Ghost

During the week, workshops take place between 12.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. at the Waterside Centre. There is a £1.00 charge for each activity and children must be supervised by an adult.

On Halloween night, all the workshops will be available throughout the evening.
