Waves of Fun at Burton Water Park
Families from across East Staffordshire are being invited to make waves at a free fun day at Branston Water Park on Saturday, July 5th.
Making Waves is a mini music, art and storytelling festival organised by the Parks and Countryside team at East Staffordshire Borough Council, which will be held between 12.00pm and 4.00pm this weekend.
Free entertainment available will include music from the Trent Valley Stompers, storytelling by Gordon the Toad, art activities, Punch and Judy shows and free children’s activities such as face painting, balloon modelling, a bouncy castle and much more.
Refreshments will also be available throughout the day.
Councillor Philip Atkins, Deputy Leader for Health and Leisure, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for families to spend time together enjoying a variety of free activities set against the perfect summer backdrop of our beautiful Branston Water Park with its extraordinary scenes and wildlife.”
The Branston Water Park site has parking facilities and toilets, plus a children’s play area and a nature trail around the lake.
Disabled parking and toilet plus flat, well surfaced paths make Branston Water Park accessible to all.
