Try Canoeing in the Easter Holidays

Grab a Paddle for Canoe Tasters

Burton Canoe Club will be offering taster sessions for young people during the Easter holidays.

On Wednesday, March 26th, the Club will be on Newton Road Park giving young people the chance to try out canoeing during two pre-booked sessions from 10.00am to 12.00pm and 1.00pm to 3.00pm.

Places must be booked in advance by phoning the canoe club on 01283 526575 or by emailing info@burtoncanoeclub.co.ukPlaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Young people taking part must be able to swim and must have a signed parental consent form. These will be available on the day or can be collected from the Tourist Information Centre at the Coors Visitor Centre any day except Easter Sunday.

The taster sessions are part of an Easter holiday event taking place at Newton Road Park on Wednesday, March 26thfrom 10.00am to 3.00pm.

There will also be a mobile skate park, bungee run, surf simulator, circus skills workshops, sports activities, art and craft activities and an Easter egg hunt.
