Petrol Prices Increasing Again!

Posted in October 2nd, 2007
Published in Burton Stuff, News, Transport

Due to the government’s 2p rise in fuel duty that was announced in the budget but just came into force yesterday, petrol prices are ‘on the up’ again around the country.

In Burton, the cheapest price is currently 92.9p for unleaded and 94.9p for diesel but some local petrol stations have increased their prices already and the others are likely to follow suit in the very near future.

Burton petrol prices aren’t too bad though compared to may towns and cities.  In fact, the UK average for a litre of unleaded petrol is now over 98p!
