* What’s On in Burton This Weekend *

Thursday 21st January

This afternoon there’s a Bird Feeding Workshop at The Greenhouse Centre in Stapenhill then this evening there’s a choice of live music with Red Dirt Road performing at The Northern Renegades Country Music Club and the Bill Bailey All Stars with Emiley performing at Burton Jazz Club.

Also tonight, tomorrow and on Saturday you can see a traditional Pantomime… Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at The Brewhouse. There are certainly tickets available for this evening but tomorrow and Saturday’s performances are virtually sold out so I’d recommend you call the Box Office on 508100 as soon as you can if you don’t want to miss out!

Friday 22nd January

Tomorrow night there’s live music from the Cosmic Cowboys at The Wetmore Whistle as well as The Notts Alliance who are performing at The Brewtown Folk Club.

Saturday 23rd January

Lots more live music on Saturday with a celebration of John Martyn’s music at The Madhouse in Rosliston, Songs from the Shows performed by New Era in Barton and Big Lix at The Wetmore Whistle.

Sunday 24th January

On Sunday there’s more live music at The Wetmore Whistle, this time from Howard Smith & The Razors.

Cineworld cinema highlights this week include ‘Toy Story 2 in 3D’, ‘Ninja Assassin’, ‘The Book of Eli’, ‘Up in the Air’, ‘All About Steve’, ‘Daybreakers’, ‘It’s Complicated’, ‘Sherlock Holmes’, ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel’, ‘Avatar 3D’ and ‘St.Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold’.
