Tetra Banks Removed from Burton Car Parks
Jan 29th, 2010 | By Chris Towland | Category: Burton Stuff, Info SnippetsImproved kerbside recycling collections in Burton on Trent mean some of the recycling banks in the borough’s supermarket car parks are set to be removed next month.
Waxed cartons – known as Tetra Paks – can now be recycled through the blue wheeled bin recycling scheme in East Staffordshire and also through the Council’s own mixed glass, can and plastic banks which are sited at the major supermarkets and throughout the borough.
As a result the individual ‘waxed carton-only’ recycling banks currently sited at Morrison’s and Sainsbury’s in Burton upon Trent and Tesco in Uttoxeter, will be removed on Friday, February 5th.
