Free Fun this Easter Holiday
Mar 31st, 2010 | By Chris Towland | Category: Burton Stuff, Info SnippetsChildren aged between three and seven-years-old are being invited to take part in some free Easter holiday activities next week.
The Council’s Green Spaces team will be at parks around East Staffordshire this Easter holiday holding Minibeasts sessions, including storytelling, minibeast hunts, art activities and more.
On Tuesday, April 6th the team will be at Burton’s Branston Water Park from 10.00am to 11.00am – meet at the Visitor’s Centre.
On Wednesday, April 7th the fun moves to Bramshall Road Park, Uttoxeter from 2.00pm to 3.00pm – meet by the bowling green.
Finally on Friday, April 9th the event will be held at Tutbury Mill from 10.00am to 11.00am.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all sessions.
There will be also be Wildplay sessions running at the same time for children aged eight to 14. These are also free and run by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. For more details call Ashley Siddell on 07854 614449 or Sam Brotton on 07854 611857.
There’s fun for the whole family on Tuesday, April 13th at the Horninglow Playday, from 12 noon to 3.00pm at the Horninglow Community Park, St Luke’s Road, Burton upon Trent.
