Chances to Volunteer for Woodland Work

On Sunday, February 28th join the Burton Conservation Volunteers in Tower Woods, Brizlincote Valley, Burton, from 10.30am to 4.00pm, for a day of woodland management.
Practical work includes crown lifting, formative pruning and habitat creation. No experience is necessary as guidance and training will be given on the day.

Then on Wednesday, March 3rd, ESBC Ranger Curtis Wright will be in the Burton Mail Woodland on the washlands planting spring flowers.
Between 2.00pm to 4.00pm, volunteers are invited to come down and join Curtis to create a woodland floor full of spring colour by planting spring flowering bulbs that the Green Spaces Team at the Council have grown into plants.
