East Staffordshire Borough Council has announced that due to the adverse weather forecast for tomorrow (Saturday 15th February) the Outdoor Market on Station Street is cancelled.
The Council has approached all traders scheduled to attend on Saturday and the general consensus was that they didn’t think the Market should take place tomorrow because of the weather. All of the traders stated they would be happy if it was cancelled as the weather is expected to be poor tomorrow, particularly in the morning.
For this reason the Council has taken the operational decision to take the stalls down tonight (Friday 14th) and cancel tomorrow’s market on Station Street.
